I had a wonderful experience speaking at the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals, Mortgage Fraud Summits earlier this month. The sessions were held in Vancouver and Toronto. Our presentation was on using the Internet and open source research techniques for fraud investigation and due diligence purposes.
The summits were a great opportunity to hear trends and issues relating to mortgage and title fraud. It was also great to meet and chat with professionals, from various backgrounds, that work to address these problems.
